Snow Day!
This morning I woke up and the light outside seemed a bit ghostly. The rocks were reflecting the odd light and it turns out it is because it snowed! There was a thin blanket on Saturday -- just a whisper of snow. But this morning, the rocks and trees are boasting a much more substantial blanket--not Nebraska substantial, of course. It has been 8 years since I have seen snow in person!

The first snow is always exciting. But it's not long until you're cursing it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pix!!! When you move to Nebraska, you can see this 5(or 6 or 7???) months a year!!! I kinda like the idea that it melts off of the hard surfaces by the afternoon, though. Maybe you should keep that type of snow!!!
