Santa came early ...

Santa has to make a lot of stops, so he asked if he could swing through Prescott a little early.

From us to you!

Happy Christmas Eve!!

Snow Morning 2012

After a little French toast, the three of us went on a little stroll around the neighborhood to check out the snow. We have about five-inches of snow and the flakes are still coming down. Ada was interested in the snow, but didn't start spinning like Mary Tyler Moore in an enchanted winter wonderland, which is sort of what I dreamed would happen. Maybe next time! Our snow clothes are sort of hilarious as we were all in our jammies when we set out.

Cooking with Ada

My mom sent Ada this wee kitchen. After Ada went to sleep last night, I put it together. This morning, should took her first crack at pretend kitchen play. She thinks it is fun, but I don't know if she understands exactly what it is. She likes to store the items that came with it. As she figures this out, it will be fun to see what she does with it!

Photo shoot

I was taking a picture of my jeans/shoes combo for my friend Jessie. (It is very difficult to let the PhotoBooth camera on my iMac start the countdown AND jump on a table in those heels.)  Ada decided she needed in on the action. So then we took lots pictures of us. I kept trying to get her to make funny faces. She wasn't for it. So I shrank her.

Fab shoes.

Sigh.

With sunglasses.

Sit down back there!
Hey you!
Aaaahhhh!!! (no Ada response)

Tada!
Fun Size Ada!

Ada and Lila: Yuma, the next generation

Jeffrey and I worked with Tammy and Chris at The Sun in Yuma, AZ, several years back.  We all paired off and had kids. See? People who say Yuma isn't worth a damn are wrong. Good things start in Yuma! (And then move away.)

Today, this next generation got to meet!

Lila!

Ada and Lila take a break from gathering rocks. The dog is Molly. Ada fed her a banana. They were then inseparable.

High fives to Rita!

Shades required in Phoenix.

"You take the rocks and you put them in this container."

Zinburger!

Hilarious.

Sephorahhhhhh

When she whipped out the eye lash curler and placed it to her eye, yes, I was shocked. She also loves lip product. If you put a little lip balm on her, she'll smack her lips just like I do when I put on lipstick. Now if I could just get her to learn how to make me a cup of coffee...

Perfecting technique: The Spoon

Watching "Muriel's Wedding" ... we like the ABBA songs...

Seriously, it is getting better ... messier, but better... If you remember the first spoon attempts with soup ...
