Verde Canyon Railroad Trip

Today Jeffrey, my mom, Ada and I hopped a train to Clarkesville! Oh wait. It started in Clarkdale!

The Verde Canyon Railroad is a 3-hour round trip (4 hours on the actual train) train ride through the canyon wilds of Arizona.

The turnaround was at Perkinsville. So named because the Perkins family lives there. That's all that lives there. The Perkinses and their cows. There was also ice cream!

The train is a fairly modern train and the accommodations were pretty nice (well, at least they were after I Grammy Edithed us over to some better seats...). It included a little light finger food buffet and a cash bar as well.

Here are some pictures of our trip.

Coming into Perkinsville

There is nothing in Perkinsville.
The sign for the nothing in Perkinsville -- the sign is about as large as the 'ville.

Arizona vista five.
